
Emergency Food and Shelter Program
United Way of Wyoming Valley serves as the convener of the Local Emergency Food and Shelter Board which is made up of a body of volunteers dedicated to reviewing applications and recommending funding allocations to eligible organizations, as specified under the National Board guidelines. The EFSP Local Board is chaired by Kendra Radle, Director of Community Investment at United Way of Wyoming Valley.
Local board members are representatives of constituencies and organizations as required by the national EFSP program, including Catholic Charities, Jewish Community Alliance, United Way of Wyoming Valley, The Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, Wyoming Valley Chapter, a local government agency, and a homeless advocate.
