The United Way of Wyoming Valley funds 14 programs at 9 agencies that promote financial stability and independence.

These programs are split amongst two separate impact areas:

 

Housing & Financial Stability

  • Poverty Intervention & Financial Assistance
  • Employment & Career Development

Help Line - Family Service Association; Emergency Services - American Red Cross, NEPA Chapter; Traveler's Aid - Commission on Economic Opportunity; Food & Material Assistance - Salvation Army; Adult Counseling - Domestic Violence Service Center; Emergency Shelter - Domestic Violence Service Center; Sexual Assault Prevention Education - Victim's Resource Center; Sexual Assault Support - Victim's Resource Center; Surviving a Layoff - Consumer Credit Counseling
