UNITED WAY OF WYOMING VALLEY’S COMMUNITY IMPACT TEAM IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO CUTTING CHILDHOOD POVERTY IN OUR COMMUNITY WHILE MAINTAINING OUR COMMITTMENT TO SAFETY NET PROGRAMS AND SERVICES SUPPORTING OUR MOST VULNERABE RESIDENTS.

2017-2019 Request for Proposal (RFP)

United Way of Wyoming Valley recently announced funding opportunities in support of its Community Impact Model, “Poverty to Possibility – Improving the Odds for Children and Families,” and in support for our Safety Net Impact Area defined as “Access to food, shelter and other essential services for individuals, families and youth who face threats to their immediate well-being.".

United Way of Wyoming Valley is seeking proposals to implement targeted Funding Strategies in the areas of Education, Income, Health and Safety Net. Nonprofit organizations that have been determined to be 501(c)(3) entities by the Internal Revenue Service currently providing, or could successfully implement, high-quality services and programs in alignment with one or more of these strategies were encouraged to apply for funding through a Letter of Intent submission process. Letters of Intent were due on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Noon. The process to submit LOIs is now closed.
