The United Way of Wyoming Valley is continuously seeking to deliver impact and maintain high quality service to our donors and community. As such, the United Way of Wyoming Valley places high value on the concept of diversity and is committed to inclusiveness.
Lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and the senior management team, the United Way of Wyoming Valley values the uniqueness of the individual, the power of the collective good and the importance of community. We promote a climate of inclusiveness that welcomes, understands and respects the diversity of our clients, donors, staff, volunteers, agencies and community partners. Dimensions of diversity include but are not limited to race, ethnicity, cultural orientation, national origin, language, religious belief, disability, gender and age.
United Way of Wyoming Valley is committed to incorporating practices that enhance inclusiveness and diversity into all areas of activity, including the recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers from diverse backgrounds. It is through these efforts, awareness and training that the United Way of Wyoming Valley will address the needs of the community we serve and advance the common good for all.
