Food Packer
Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to pack boxes of supplemental food for low income area seniors. Food to be packed includes canned juice, vegetables, cereal, and are all packed into boxes to be delivered to seniors.

Summer Meal Deliverers & Servers
Volunteers: Individuals are needed for CEO Summer Lunch Program! Help with delivering the coolers to locations throughout the Wyoming Valley from CEO's kitchen in the Heights is needed. The lunches are typically ready by 10am to be delivered and are prepared Monday through Friday. Servers are also needed! We are in particular need of help in the Kingston area, but if you have an interest in helping in other areas, don't hesitate to respond. We will match you with a location that is best for you. It only takes about an hour each day.Hours: June 13 – August 19; Monday – Friday; flexible hours: deliveries usually begin by 10am, lunches are served from 11am to 1pm

Tax Preparer
Volunteers: Volunteer will prepare taxes online for low income individuals through the VITA Program (opportunity available until April 15). Interested individuals must complete an online training and pass a test prior to being able to file taxes for individuals

Senior Peer Counseling Program
Volunteers: Provide one-to-one supportive counseling to senior citizens confined to their home or are uncomfortable in a mental health setting. Must be age 55 or older, able to drive own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement. Orientation training necessary regarding aging issues.Hours: Weekdays; One to three hours per week based on commitment

Eastern PA Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation
