SUMMARY:

LOANED ASSOCIATE (L. A.) is a carefully selected individual, either recruited
from or sponsored by a company, as well as provided through local colleges.

The Loaned Associate Program offers unique professional management training,
development, and networking opportunities.

The individual is available to the United Way of Wyoming Valley for 12 weeks to exclusively
assist with the public phase of the community-wide campaign.  Both full-time and part-time
Loaned Associates are welcome. 

During this period of time, the L. A. is given company support, relieved of work responsibilities, and will work out of the United Way office to plan, organize and implement workplace campaigns.

TRAINING:  Extensive one-week management training program – free  (available in Fall) Ongoing                    training throughout the Campaign


DETAILS:

-Loaned Associate remains on salary of sponsoring organization.

-Sponsoring organization generally covers business expenses  (parking & mileage).

-Loaned Associate should have access to own personal vehicle.

TIMEFRAME:

-12 weeks' commitment by Loaned Associates

-September through December   (Monday thru Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.)

-Hours may vary according to account assignments.


NOTE:  Because the public phase of the annual campaign is condensed into this 12-week period, we ask that the individual representing your organization not have vacation time scheduled during this period. (flexibility case by case)
