"Care to Share" fulfills Bon-Ton's mission statement to be an active participant in the communities in which it operates. This event offers a premier one-day fundraising opportunity to participating organizations. The event date is determined by Bon-Ton.
Bon-Ton offers this occasion to non-profit organizations, school and church groups within each community, inviting them to participate. It is a unique opportunity for non-profit organizations to do some fundraising while boosting the economy in our local community! Charities sell $5 coupon books (All proceeds benefit the charitable organizations selling the coupon books.) for:
·a special day of in-store shopping discounts, ranging from 10% to 40%
·register-to-wins (fantastic prizes from store drawings)
·entertainment
·special activities at 70 Bon-Ton locations (excludes New Jersey locations).
United Way of Wyoming Valley receives 100% of all proceeds from coupon books sold by United Way staff and volunteers.
