  • Campaign Incentives Fun!

It took just two minutes for United Way donor Susan Augello-Kuhl to load her shopping carts with $1,090.99 worth of groceries during a shopping spree donated by the Wilkes-Barre Township Wegmans as an incentive prize for United Way of Wyoming Valley’s 2015-16 Annual Campaign. As a donor to the Campaign, Susan’s name was entered into a raffle to win a number of campaign incentive prizes. As the campaign ended in Spring 2016, Susan’s name was pulled as the winner of the Wegman’s Spree.

Susan is a first-grade teacher at Kistler Elementary in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District. As Susan’s commitment to help others through her support of United Way would indicate, Susan decided that while most of what she gathered during the hectic two minutes would go to her family, some would go to families of students in her classroom who are in need.

A very special thanks to Wegmans for being such a consistently generous supporter of United Way of Wyoming Valley!
