The Labor Participation Committee works in conjuction with United Way of Wyoming Valley's Labor Participation Department, focusing on the main areas of:
· Developing ways to gain labor's support towards the annual campaign
· Developing ways to recognize the efforts of organized labor
Individuals from AFL-CIO, NEA/PSEA and independent unions can serve on the committee, which is currently chaired by Sam Bianco. Current committee members and their union affiliation are as follows:
