Building Stronger Families
United Way invests in building stronger families through both prevention and intervention services. United Way recognizes the importance of supporting the 21 programs in 14 agencies that both prevent and intervene in serious individual and family issues, including drug and alcohol addiction and sexual assault. In this area, United Way supports individuals in need of counseling services and also provides scholarships to children for child care services, after and before school programs, early intervention, and pre-school..
