is the board of the Children's Alliance. It's representation consist of local county government and local not-for-profit agencies. |

Cross Systems Training |

coordinates an annual training on the county systems involved with children. This training is held in the fall and is intended for any new case worker in Luzerne County. |

Alliance for Children's Success |

is Luzerne Counties Child Care Resource Developers (CCRD). They oversee all of the child care planning activities. |

School Aged Prevention |

works on prevention issues with school aged children. They are responsible for conducting our Communities That Care needs assessment and mapping prevention services in the school system. |

is a community initiative that encourages collaboration among business, labor, government, education, health and human services agencies, and community organizations - in partnership with parents - to ensure that children are ready to learn when they enter school by the age of six. |

Family Centers Workgroup |

consist of agencies that have 2 common themes: provide case management and conduct some type of home visitation. They work jointly on issues that will improve the lives of the families they serve. |

Service Integration |

compiled and updates an inventory list of all programs and services available to children in Luzerne County through the school systems. |

Special Needs |

identifies and addresses issues when working with children who have special needs. |

School Readiness |
|
identified what children need to know when they enter kindergarten and developed methods to inform educators, day care staff, and parents. |

Quality Care |
|
develops strategies to strengthen and improve the quality of child care in Luzerne County. |
